Playerhunter launches as social app to connect players and clubs

September 23 – A new social network designed to help players connect with clubs, scouts, agents and coaches has launched. Playerhunter aims of simplify the process of trawling for players, checking them out and speeding the time to contract, while at the same time opening up the number of opportunities to find the clubs that would work for them.

Playerhunter is a free-to-use platform that allows a player to showcase his or her CV and videos to coaches, scouts and agents. All players are treated equally on the platform.

Each registered player has their own personal profile page with a CV section, which allows him to upload multimedia content to promote themselves and their skills. Clubs and brands also have a dedicated area for sharing images and videos, and updating followers with the latest news.

Hence players can look for and contact clubs, while scouts and agents can look for players and assess their videos.

Open to both male and female players, the platform is also open to all ages and has already registered 12,600 players and 2,400 clubs (mostly Serbian).

Targeting all levels football and leagues worldwide, the Austrian-based developers say they are not bound by a specific region or country.

A web-based application, Playerhunter also has Android and iOS apps.
