Marathonbet double up on Man City with training kit branding deal

December 9 – Manchester City has built on its partnership with its official betting partner Marathonbet making the online bookmaker the club’s first training kit partner in what is reportedly an eight-figure deal.

Marathonbet branding will be added to the training kits of the club’s men’s and women’s senior teams.

Omar Berrada, Chief Operating Officer at Manchester City, said: “Launching our first training kit partner is a significant moment for Manchester City and we are delighted to be doing this with our existing partner, Marathonbet. The last eighteen months of partnership have been extremely positive for both organisations and we are pleased to recognise this success by expanding our relationship together.”

As betting sponsor Marathonbet has activated around matchday and international fan initiatives, with the bookie launching in Nigeria by partnering with the club’s trophy tour in the country – Man City senior teams won six trophies last season.

No term for the deal was released, though it is likely to be for three seasons. Rivals Liverpool earn £20 million for their training kit sponsorship with AXA.
