October 2 – Mohamed Bin Hammam, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, has launched his own personal website.
The site, which has two language versions – Engish and Arabic – can be accessed via the URLs www.afcpresident.com or www.mohamedbinhammam.com.
It contains news, videos and photos, a blog, and information about Bin Hammam.
“This website is a way of connecting with other football fans,” Bin Hammam said.
“Football is our language and I will be putting forth my thoughts on the game through my website.
“My aim is to popularise the game further through www.afcpresident.com.”
