May 25 – The President of Russian Premier League outfit Dynamo Moscow, Yuri Isayev, is the latest big name confirmed as a speaker for the Inside World Football Moscow Forum.
Dynamo are the oldest team in the Russian league, yet they play second fiddle to big city rivals CSKA, Spartak and Lokomotiv.
They are also yet to win the Russian Premier League title.
Isayev, whose role at the club involves management of their new VTB Arena home, has previously been the Deputy Minister of the Economy and is also a renowned businessman.
He is one of a number of investors in the Russian Premier League who have propelled the country’s football forward in recent times, and has been a vocal proponent of curbing spiralling wages in the country.
The Dynamo President joins an impressive list of speakers, which includes the likes of FIFA’s Walter Gagg and Marcin Herra, President of Poland’s preparations for the 2012 European Championships.
