June 10 – UEFA has confirmed the agreement of broadcast rights with partners across 130 countries worldwide for this summer’s European Under-21 Championship, which kicks off in Denmark tomorrow.

Broadcast rights have been agreed extensively across Europe, from Iceland to Israel, and a number of countries outside of the continent have also secured media rights agreements.

These agreements range from the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, Indonesia and the far east, North America and Latin America.

Free live streaming of matches will also be available to those territories without TV coverage, ensuring the tournament is available as widely as possible to spectators.

The tournament kicks off with Belarus playing Iceland and the hosts Denmark taking on Switzerland on Saturday in Group A.

Group B starts on Sunday (June 12), with England facing Spain and the Czech Republic facing Ukraine.
