September 18 – Tesoro Tours has been appointed as the exclusive sales agent of hospitality programmes in Colombia for the 2014 World Cup, taking place in Brazil.
The decision was made by the world rights holder to the FIFA hospitality programme, MATCH Hospitality, meaning Tesoro will be the exclusive agent for World Cup and Confederations Cup hospitality packages.
The executive chairman of MATCH, Jaime Byrom, said: “MATCH Hospitality is very pleased to welcome Tesoro Tours as a new partner to our global network.
“With this company we have an exclusive agent who is extremely well positioned to sell our range of outstanding hospitality products in Colombia.”
His words were echoed by Alvaro Caicedo, the executive manager of Tesoro Tours, who said: “Tesoro Tours is excited to have been appointed as exclusive agent for the sale of hospitality packages for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
“We are committed to serving the hospitality market in Colombia by leveraging our combined experience and our status as the only company in Colombia which is allowed to offer hospitality packages to corporate clients and football aficionados for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.”
