November 13 – African stars Samuel Eto’o and Yaya Toure were present as Puma announced a feature at the Design Museum in London to mark the unveiling of 10 new football kits for some of Africa’s biggest football nations.

Each Puma sponsored country – including Eto’s Cameroon and Toure’s Ivory Coast – will wear new kits during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, to take place in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, after being created by a renowned artist from the Creative African Network (CAN).

All artists involved were commissioned to design a jersey that underlined the heritage, culture and traditions of their home nation and the month long exhibition, entitled “Interpretations of Africa: Football, Art & Design” runs from November 8 for four weeks, featuring the process they undertook to design the kits.
