May 7 – German champions Borussia Dortmund have reached a three-year deal with printing specialists Flyeralarm.
Flyeralarm, Europe’s largest online printing company, will now be a second tier champion partner of Dortmund.
The deal comes just after Dortmund, who won the Bundesliga title for a second successive year recently, extended a sponsorship deal with Burg-Wächter.
Other “champion partners” of the club include Sparda-Bank, Sprehe, Seat, Signal Iduna, Hankook, Q Cells, Wilo and Yanmar.
Flyeralarm have already played a role in the development of the new official club energy drink, Adrenalin, which was launched ahead of the cup final with Bayern Munich at the Olympic Stadium this week.
“Borussia Dortmund is a match for us for many reasons as the club stands for passion, desire, commitment and team spirit,” said Tanja Hammerl, managing director of Flyeralarm.
Carsten Cramer, director of sales and marketing for Borussia Dortmund, added: “We are very pleased to know that with Flyeralarm we have in the future not only a strong brand, but one that constitutes a very creative partner on the side of Borussia Dortmund”.
Flyeralarm already partners two other German teams, St Pauli and Fortuna Düsseldorf and advertised at Germany’s home qualifiers for Euro 2012.
