Budweiser Gives Power To the People with Man of the Match Awards

June 14 – Budweiser, the official beer sponsor of the upcoming Confederations Cup in Brazil as well as next year’s World Cup, are presenting a man of the match award for every game at both tournaments with a specially designed trophy.

To make it easier for “fans to make their voice heard” voting can take place through iOS and Android mobile apps, on select Budweiser Facebook pages and via Twitter @FIFAcom as well as on BudweiserManoftheMatch.com and FIFA.com.

“We are proud to give fans the opportunity to decide which player receives the Man of the Match award, and we wanted to make participation more accessible than ever before. By introducing new voting platforms, we hope that more football fans across the globe will have a chance to get closer to the game they love.”

Fans will be able to vote from the start of the second half, giving commentators plenty of opportunities to mention the sponsor.
