August 13 – A few hours before the kick-off of a new season in Ligue 1, AS Monaco announced the signing of a partnership contract with Triangle Interim, a temp agency.
The one-year deal will see the Triangle Interim logo displayed prominently on the left sleeve of the official match shirt, as well as all training and warm-up jerseys.
The partnership, which was negotiated by the French office of Infront Sports & Media cames at a time when AS Monaco have themselves seen a rapid turn-over of staff as they move on from being promoted to Ligue 1 to aiming for a top three finish under manager Claudio Ranieri.
Triangle Interim, with its snappy slogan “Ensemble, unissons nos compétences” (jointly unifying our competences), has become one of the leading recruitment agencies in France since it was founded 10 years ago
The deal came in time for the Triangle Interim logo to feature as Monaco beat Girondins de Bordeaeux 2-0 away from home on Saturday as the club, fortified by the patronage of Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, sealed its return to the top flight, where it is expected to provide stiff competition for Paris St Germain.
AS Monaco, which faces a legal battle with the French league to try and retain its advantageous tax status, has also recently appointed Vadim Vasilyev, previously Sporting Director and responsible for recruitment of players, and an ex-official of the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Vice-President and member of the Board as replacement for Jean-Louis Campora.
