October 16 – Manchester United, and their official logistics partner DHL, are to tour the Premier League Trophy to 31 destinations in 24 cities worldwide in the coming months to celebrate last season’s Premier League triumph.
The United Trophy Tour will kick off in Rio De Janeiro on October 30 and over the following five-months will travel to Sao Paulo, Santiago, Guayaquil, Mexico City, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Taipei, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Riyadh, Dohar, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Bangkok, Myanmar, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Moscow, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Oslo and Basle..
Events on the tour will include live match screenings and displays of Manchester United memorabilia, which DHL are transporting directly from the Old Trafford Museum, whilst club legends including Andy Cole, Denis Irwin, Bryan Robson and Dwight Yorke will be joining in the celebrations at various points.

The tour follows in the footsteps on the DHL Champions Trophy Tour in the 2011/12 season.
United are currently in ninth place in the Premier League after seven games having already lost to Manchester City, Liverpool and West Brom under new manager David Moyes who is inevitably being compared unfavourably to Sir Alex Ferguson. It is difficult to escape the thought that this tour may mark an end of United’s recent domination of the Premier League title.
