April 16- The fourth edition of the “ReportCalcio” has been unveiled by the FIGC in Rome revealing a continuing downward trend in stadium income whilst television revenues increase.

The 204 page ‘ReportCalcio’ published by the Centre for Studies, Development and Special Initiatives of the Football Federation in collaboration with the Agency for Research and Legislation (AREL) and PricewaterhouseCoopers was presented in Rome by CONI president Giovanni Malagò, FIGC president Giancarlo Abete and managing director Antonello Valentini.

The figures in the report highlight a downward trend in revenues from stadiums for professional football as a whole (-4.1%), due to a reduction in the total number of spectators (-6.4%). The decline is linked both to the age of Italian stadiums and the economic crisis.
