BMW have 10 Ticket Test-Drive events in the Bay Area planned over the course of the year, where a current San Jose Earthquake player will be present, giving out two free tickets for an upcoming home game to anyone that tries out a BMW at the event.

Dave Kaval, the President of the Earthquakes, said: “We couldn’t be happier to announce our partnership with BMW. They are an industry leader and we have built out a great fan-friendly partnership with them. We are proud to have them as the presenting sponsor of the historic first official event at Levi’s Stadium on August 2. We are looking forward to a memorable event.”

In light of the 2014 World Cup, it’s a very exciting time for soccer in the United States, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”

San Jose Earthquakes have been busy securing sponsorship deals the past few months. In March they announced their partnership with Ruckus Wireless, who are to install free, public Wi-Fi network in their home stadium by 2015.

Their home base is the 11,500-seat soccer stadium at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.

But San Jose have moved matches previously to larger venues in the past. In each of the last three seasons they have played matches at Stanford Stadium with all those games topping 40,000 fans. The Earthquakes most recently beat the LA Galaxy 3-2 on June 29 in front of 50,028 fans at Stanford Stadium.

On July 27 San Jose play a pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid at Candlestick Park, the 70,000 capacity stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area that the 49ers are leaving for the new Levi’s Stadium.
