Man City add QNet and T.M. Lewin to sponsorship roster

August 13 – Premier League Champions Manchester City have announced two new partnerships days before they begin the defence of their league crown. Asian firm QNet will become the club’s Official Direct Selling Partner, while T.M. Lewin has become the club’s new Official Formal Wear Partner.

QNet is an international direct selling company and part of the QI group owned by Malaysian entrepreneur Vijay Eswaran. The company is looking to harness Man City’s growing international fan base for its ” lifestyle enhancing products and services”, ranging from health and nutrition, personal care, education and home care.

The three-year deal will offer QNet a number of promotional and money-can’t-buy experiences for customers and staff. The package also includes other benefit includes LED perimeter advertising, TV media backdrops, MCFC digital advertising and participation in Qnet Business networking events.

Tom Glick, Chief Business Officer for Manchester City, said: “QNet’s grass roots philosophy of empowering ordinary people around the world to start their own business and succeed has been the key to their rapid growth.”

QNet was founded in 1998, and has 25 offices across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. “We look forward to working with the Club to continue our engagement with communities around the world and also to improving the standard of football in Asia, through coaching clinics and training opportunities,” said Eswaran.

The two year clothing partnership will see TM Lewin provide the official team suits, shirts and ties for Man City.

To launch the deal, T.M. Lewin shot a 1950’s inspired campaign featuring Sergio Aguero, Fernando, Jesus Navas and Gael Clichy wearing their new Perry Suits.

City supporters are also being encouraged to show off their fashion style in a social media competition where fans are invited to upload an image or video of themselves looking sharp – winners receive a weekend away for them and three friends up to the value of £2,000, as well as outfits from the T.M.Lewin Autumn Winter Range too.

No figure was given for the value of either sponsorship deal.
