Carlsberg

November 13 – Premier League Tottenham Hotspur have extended their long-term deal with Carlsberg. The brewer will continue as the Club’s Official UK Beer Partner for another three seasons.

Carlsberg UK hold exclusive pouring rights at the stadium, selling flagship beer brand Carlsberg, and other alcohol brands including Somersby Cider. The renewed deal will take Carlsberg to the end of the 2017/2018 season.

The renewal will extend the partnership between Spurs and Carlsberg to 14 years.

Fran Jones, Head of Partnerships at Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are pleased to announce the renewal of one of our longest standing commercial agreements. We first partnered with Carlsberg in 2004 and this further extension is testament to the excellent relationship we have enjoyed throughout that time. We look forward to continuing our partnership until 2018.”

As well as Spurs, Carlsberg has established a strong portfolio in football being the official beer of the Barclays Premier League, England national team and sponsors of the European Championships since 1988

David Scott, Director of Brands and Insight at Carlsberg UK, said: “We are delighted to extend our long standing partnership with Tottenham Hotspur – a Club with ambitious plans for the future, as demonstrated by its impressive new stadium designs. The extension of our official beer partnership allows us to continue providing Carlsberg products to supporters at the stadium as part of the match-day experience, and further cements our position as the beer brand of football across the UK and Europe.”
