Man City revs up regional sponsor roster with Astra Otoparts

April 7 – Manchester City has signed automotive component group Astra Otoparts as an Official Regional Partner of the Club.

The Indonesia-based company produces premium automotive parts for more than 12,000 retailers across Indonesia, and is market leader in the production of both spare parts and batteries via its ASPIRA and GS Astra brands.

Astra Otoparts will initiate a range of promotional activities for fans, consumers and retailers in the market can enjoy. A club press release said these “will include digital and television advertising, competitions to win exclusive merchandise and once-in-a-lifetime Manchester City experiences, and the introduction of co-branded merchandise.”

Yusak Kristian, Director of Astra Otoparts said: “Having a partnership with Manchester City Football Club will allow us to get closer to our potential consumers and to strengthen our commitment to globally introducing our brands, ASPIRA and GS Astra.”

Omar Berrada, Group Commercial Director for City Football Marketing, which brokers Manchester City’s commercial partnerships, emphasised Man City increasingly global base of fans and business opportunities saying: “Over the course of this partnership we look forward to working with Astra Otoparts using our global football presence as a platform on which fans and consumers can get closer both to the Club and to Astra Otoparts’ products and services.”
