August 19 – Inter Milan has signed a one-year partnership with HotelPlanner for the 2016/17 season, making the online booking service the club’s Official Hotel Reservations Partner.
As well as sorting out the club’s accommodation requirements, HotelPlanner will make its service available to fans, Inter Club members and sponsors, so they can travel to home or away matches.
HotelPlanner.com provides group hotel booking services to 3,000 groups per day in the global group travel market, its core business area. The boasts that it “ensures the lowest rates by allowing customers to receive quotes online directly from hotel group sales managers.” Sports leagues and teams are a key business area for HotelPlanner.
Tim Hentschel, co-founder and CEO of HotelPlanner.com, said: “HotelPlanner is proud to be an Inter sponsor and provide the team and fans with the best possible service and rates throughout the season. Our aim is to build a lasting, successful relationship.”
HotelPlanner will promote its services across Inter’s digital and media platforms. It will also promote to Inter’s databases of fans, particular the club’s higher value customers.
