February 1- Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has become the latest high-profile export to the Chinese Super League after joining Changchun Yatai for £20 million from English Premier league club Watford.
The move was the most expensive transfer in an otherwise relatively quiet final day of the English winter window.
Ighalo scored 39 goals in 100 appearances for Watford but just twice this season following a 17-goal return last term.
He joins the likes of Oscar, Carlos Tevez, Hulk, Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Gervinho, Graziano Pelle and Paulinho, all of whom have moved to China over the last two years though the exodus could be slowing down now that Chinese authorities have placed restrictions on foreign imports.
