July 24 – Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town are capitalising on their commercial opportunity with a new record shirt sponsor as well as new and renewed commercial partnerships.
Announced earlier this month, OPE Sports is the club’s new kit sponsor in a one-year deal.
OPE Sports is part of betting brand Opebet, which was founded in 2007 and primarily targets the Asian markets.
No value was given for the deal that is the club’s biggest to date and will see the OPE Sports logo on both the home and away shirts as well as pitch side LED boards, and other stadium branding.
Dean Hoyle, chairman at Huddersfield Town, said: “The growth of our international fan base since promotion and the Premier League makes OPE SPORTS an attractive partner for our club, and our growing reach around world provides OPE SPORTS with an ideal platform to continue its own growth.”
Flying in a higher atmosphere
Private airline Multiflight has become the new official flight partner of the club and will provide air travel for the team.
Operating from the Leeds Bradford airport Multiflight offers fixed wing and helicopter charters as well as a range of private aircraft management and training services.
Shepley Spring has extended its ‘official water’ partnership for another two years for its Ice Valley brand. The company has already been with the club for three years.
Burton Safes has extended its sponsorship becoming the players’ entrance sponsor.
