West Brom bag 12BET for sleeve as Leicester sign Dafabet as partner

August 11 – A new Premier League season means a new round of club betting sponsors. Leicester City, who kick off the season against Arsenal tonight, have announced Dafabet as their Official Betting Partner. Meanwhile Midlands rival West Brom have unveiled 12BET as their first sleeve sponsor.

Asian focussed 12BET have agreed a one-year deal with West Brom that see their logo on the shirt sleeve and the club’s training wear. No value was put n the deal.

Simon King, Albion’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “12BET are a reputable brand with a rich history of working in the Premier League. To have been identified as an exciting prospect by the company highlights the growth the Club has made globally in recent years. With strong Asian links continuing to grow, this was instantly recognised as a perfect partnership.”

It was also the global reach of the Premier League clubs that was highlighted in the Dafabet deal with Leicester City.

Leicester City’s Head of Partnership Engagement, Harj Hir, said: “We have a fan base of more than 10,000,000 supporters around the globe on our social media channels – the seventh largest in the Premier League, and in partnership with Dafabet, we look forward to using this platform to work together towards achieving our collective goals through engagement.”

Dafabet will see its branding across LED advertising boards and interview backdrops in Leicester’s King Power Stadium. The online gaming firm will offer special price boosts on all Leicester City games this season.

Established in 2004, Dafabet has grown its football sponsorship with deals with Celtic, Burnley, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers.
