Inter Milan and Japan’s iCure link for Inter Health Academy project

September 7 – Inter Milan have hooked up with Japanese company iCure to share best practices in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation as part of the Inter Academy Health project.

iCure specialises in the area and already works with Japan’s top tier J1 League. The company has a network of 38 physiotherapy centres and clinics across Japan.

According to an Inter press release: “The aim of the project is to further develop specialists’ understanding of post-injury recovery and rehabilitation.”

iCure staff will visit Inter Milan facilities before hosting the Italians “for seminars and group work.”

“We’re delighted to enter into this new partnership which further underlines Inter’s expansion as a brand both in Italy and abroad,” said Inter vice president Javier Zanetti.

“We’re very proud to be able to share our experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation and healthcare.”

iCure chairman Eiichi Koizumi added: “This is a great opportunity for us to benefit from the expertise of a prestigious club such as Inter, who are among the best in the business for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

“We’ve been very impressed by what we’ve seen at Suning Training Centre and the professionalism of Inter’s specialists. We’re honoured to sign this partnership.”
