March 14 – New Balance has extended its kit supply deal with FC Porto through to the end of the 2024/25, a deal that will see it supply the current Portuguese league leaders for 10 years.
FC Porto President Pinto da Costa said: “We are delighted to continue our journey as part of the New Balance family, with whom we have had a great relationship over the last few seasons. We look forward to future successes and to supply the fans with kit, apparel and equipment they can be proud of when supporting the team around the Globe.”
New Balance will supple kit, training wear and equipment, in addition to a range of FC Porto branded apparel. FC Porto retail sales have doubled globally since the start of their relationship with New Balance.
“FC Porto was one of the first clubs that we secured as a kit provider and the deal is a reflection on the extremely positive first phase of our relationship with the Club. The extension reflects New Balance and FC Porto’s ambitions to grow and develop globally with a real hunger for success,” said Kenny McCallum, general manager of New Balance Football.
Since then New Balance has added Athletic Club, Liverpool, Celtic, Sevilla, LOSC Lille, FC Nantes, and national football teams, Republic of Ireland, Costa Rica and Panama.
