Indonesians pick Genius Sports to revamp and drive their digital data proposition

May 2 – Genius Sports have signed a new partnership with the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) to manage and commercialise their official match data in real-time.

The deal with Genius Sports will focus on providing a solution that combines live data capture and real-time distribution services to drive new revenue streams and provide a reinvigorated and cutting edge digital experience to fans.

PSSI’s competitions including Liga 1 and the FA Cup, will for the first time have real-time statistics before, during and after every game, as well as data-driven content via a mobile app and an automated social media publishing service.

Joko Driyono, acting Chairman of the PSSI, said“The PSSI is very excited to work closely with Genius Sports…We will do our utmost to ensure significant improvements across all areas and recognise that data management plays a crucial role in our development, not only from a technical side but also in our commercial acquisition strategy.”
