Spurs score hat-trick of deals with Audi, IWC Schaffhausen and 1XBET

August 17 – Premier League Spurs have unveiled three new sponsors with Audi becoming the club’s official car partner in an exclusive four-year agreement, IWC Schaffhausen as the official timing partner, and 1XBET as its Official Betting Partner for Africa.

Audi’s four ring marque will feature on digital signs, including the LED advertising system, big screens and interior TV network, at the club’s new stadium as well as across its digital media channels.

Spurs join German champions Bayern Munich, Spanish champions Barcelona and European champions Real Madrid as an Audi partner. Audi also stages the Audi Cup and Audi Summer Tour pre-season tournaments which Spurs will likely feature in going forward.

Fran Jones, head of partner services at Tottenham, said: “Audi is a premium brand, so we are delighted to have it on board alongside a number of other leading club partners.”

Interesting time

With the delay on the move from Wembley to the new stadium dominating Spurs headlines, it is somewhat ironic that the club should choose this time to announce Swiss luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen as their official timing partner.

Described as a multi-year agreement, the brand will have a strong presence across the club’s media assets, including within the new stadium.

African roots

The agreement with online sports betting site 1XBET as the club’s Official Betting Partner for Africa is 1XBET’s first partnership in English football.

In Africa the betting company has existing relationships with the CAF African Nations Cup and the Nigerian Football Association.

The deal will give 1XBET  an in-stadium advertising presence on the LED perimeter bpards, as well as a presence on the new website and digital channels across the African continent.

Spurs reckons it has 100 million followers across Africa and fully mobilised Official Supporters Clubs in Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.  1XBET is offering the fans the opportunity to win a signed shirt if they can successfully predict which Tottenham Hotspur player scores their first goal at home this season – their Wembley home.
