May 24 – Bayern Munich, having celebrated their seventh consecutive Bundesliga title with five-litre flagons of Paulaner beer on the pitch, have decided they want more and extended their partnership through to 2026 with the Munich-based brewer.
Andreas Steinfatt, Paulaner managing director said: “As a Munich-based company, the Paulaner Brewery and FC Bayern Munich are ambassadors of the Bavarian way of life that carries them all over the world. In this sense, we are very pleased to continue celebrating the tradition of the Paulaner photo shoots with the team in costume, our legendary Weissbierduschen or the visits of the team at the Oktoberfest.
Paulaner is one of six brewers that supplies the Oktoberfest beer festival in Munich.
Following the on-pithc festivities where the Paulaner flowed, the club also celebrated their 29th German championship title at the Paulaner am Nockherberg brewery last weekend with 2,500 fans at a festival organised by the brewery.
Bayern marketing director Andreas Jung stressed, “For many years, Paulaner has been a partner that suits us perfectly. Just like Paulaner, FC Bayern have many friends, both at home and across the globe. We are especially pleased that thanks to unique promotions such as the Paulaner fan dreams, Paulaner makes the partnership a vivid experience for our fans.”
