July 4 – The Swiss-based digital sport sponsorship marketplace, Sponsor.Online, has unveiled France 1998 World Cup winner Christian Karembeu as a new investor and advisor to the company.
Launched at the beginning of 2019, the platform provides a forum where professional football clubs and brands can connect with each other.
It says it has already serviced 150 professional football clubs connecting with 50 global brands.
The software platform streamlines search functionalities to find the best-fit sponsorship opportunities and the dashboard displays clear metrics allowing brand to monitor return on investment (ROI). For rights holders and clubs the platform puts them in front of sponsors on a transparent platform, for brands they can streamline their search for best-fit opportunities.
