Bullish eToro trades up with Everton and Aston Villa deals

August 6 – Trading platform eToro has added Everton and Aston Villa to its sponsorship roster, taking the number of Premier League teams it has deals with to six, including Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Southampton and Spurs.

eToro says the new deals – they are all one-year agreements – make it the league’s biggest club sponsor for the second year running. Adidas are the biggest kit sponsor of Premier League clubs, also with six.

Iqbal V. Gandham, UK managing director at eToro said: ‘We’re proud to be the Premier League’s biggest club sponsor. Working with six clubs for the second year in a row demonstrates our commitment to our customers, and to the fans.

“We want to open up our club partnerships for all and to use this celebration to enable smart insights into transfer dealings from industry experts, just like our market leading investment platform.”

The eToro platform now has more than 10 million registered users who invest in a range of assets from stocks and commodities to cryptocurrency assets. The platform allows users to buy, hold and sell assets, monitor their portfolio and transact in real time. It also has a feature allowing users to follow the approaches of the most successful traders on the platform.

No value has been given for the deals that are based primarily on clubs’ digital inventory.
