Real Betis exchanges Green Earth for easyMarkets as short sponsor

August 20 – LaLiga’s Real Betis has secured a three-year shirt sponsorship with foreign exchange broker easyMarkets, who take over from Green Earth, an environmentally-friendly cryptocurrency company.

The easyMarkets deal is reportedly to be worth €2 million per season and is being said by the club to provide a new era of financial stability.

Betis returned to the top tier of La Liga after it won the Segunda División in the 2014–15 season. Generally regarded as the poor relation of city rival Sevilla, Betis had emerged from a protracted period of ownership instability.

easyMarkets announced the sponsorship on LinkedIn, posting: “All of us here at easyMarkets believe that this partnership will support our long term goal for growth, progress and brand recognition and we are particularly honoured to have our brand aligned with that of Real Betis!”

Reale Seguros is the club’s sleeve sponsor, BeSoccer the shorts sponsor and Kappa is the kit supplier in a deal that runs until 2022.
