April 9 – Cyber security tech company VST Enterprises Ltd (VSTE) has launched a sports health passport-style app that will enable fans to return to stadiums as the world recovers  from the coronavirus pandemic.

The health app will work in conjunction with an official department of Health sanctioned Covid-19 testing kit, and consists of a series of authentications and permissions are that validate test results.

If the person taking the test is virus free, they can then take their seat in the stadium.

The application is being offered to clubs in the Premier and Football League who can issue the V-COVID  app (or an App that uses the VCode technology) to fans. Signing up for the app is envisaged as being free.

The app will help “get fans back attending key fixtures and events in a gradual and staged process, with the emphasis on safety at all times,” said Louis-James Davis CEO of VSTE.
