April 19 – Conmebol have extended their partnership with FC Diez Media until 2026 for the exploitation of the governing body’s commercial rights.
The agency exploited the commercial rights during the 2019-2022 cycle and it has now retained all global media rights, sponsorship, and licensing rights with Conmebol deciding for the 2023-2026 cycle.
Those rights include Conmebol’s flagship club competitions, both the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana.
In a statement, the South American governing body wrote that it “awards these rights to FC Diez Media, with a period of 60 days to sign the contract, after the bidding process opened last December and the compliance was verified by the company Ernst & Young.”
