July 14 – Manchester United have reportedly reached agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign England star Jadon Sancho for over £70 million.
Sancho has reportedly completed a medical and the club are expected to formally announce his arrival later this week.
Sancho was highly rated at Dortmund with German fans amazed that he played so few minutes at Euro 2020.
The 21-year-old winger was consistently brilliant for Dortmund having contributed to 36 goals in just 38 appearances last season.
At the European Championships, manager Gareth Southgate mainly opted to keep him on the bench only for him to come on late as a substitute to take part in the penalty shoot-out against Italy in Sunday’s final – with disappointing consequences.
