October 4 – Online trading platform eToro has secured partnerships with eight clubs in Italy’s Serie A for the coming 2021/22 season.
eToro will be official an partner of Bologna, Cagliari, Genoa, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spezia, Udinese, Verona and has also agreed an LED advertising deal with Salernitana.
The investment platform that says it now has 20 million registered users worldwide, offers a range of assets for traders from shares, to commodities and cryptoassets. It also allows traders to mirror other investors on the platform by copying their portfolios.
The investment platform was founded in 2007 and since 2017 has steadily increased its football sponsorships. It holds a number of Premier League club partnerships and in 2018 had seven clubs signed up including Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Southampton, and Brighton & Hove Albion. eToro is currently short sponsor of AS Monaco in France’s Ligue1.

eToro’s package is for a range of marketing opportunities including matchday LED boards, media backdrops, tickets and digital rights. No value was given the for agreements.
