PSG add to AmEx deal with new term and esports hook up

November 23 – Paris Saint-Germain and American Express have extended their sponsorship deal until 2024 with the payment services giant also backing the Ligue 1 club’s esports team.

Over the next three years, the deal will see notable services at the Parc des Princes, including a concierge service inside the hospitality area and meet-and-greets and private events at the PSG megastore for American Express clients.

“At the Parc des Princes, the American Express concierge service has become iconic, and we are proud to be able to offer our supporters so many wonderful experiences. Paris Saint-Germain and American Express both have innovation in their DNA,” said PSG’s deputy sponsorship director Cynthia Marcou.

Significantly, the renewal will also include American Express backing up PSG’s esports arm. PSG first teamed up with American Expressed in 2015. Last week, the French club partnered with fast delivery grocery service Gorillas in a deal worth between €5 million and €8 milllion per season. The terms of the new deal with American Express were not disclosed.
