Adidas gets the ball rolling for Women’s Champions League final in Turin

February 1 – Adidas has unveiled the official match ball that will be used for all knock-out rounds and the final of the 2021/22 UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The Women’s Champions League final will be played in Turin on May 21 and the design of the ball reflects the Piedmont region of the Alps with a mirrored star shape featuring in the imagery.

A press release said “the ball represents a symbol of possibility – a vehicle that can inspire the next generation of footballing talent and grassroots communities around the world.”

Some of the adidas Football Collective (aFC) community members from the Turin region participated in the launch to highlight the importance that grassroots football plays in giving footballers a springboard.

Quarter finals start March 22 with Bayern Munich vs PSG, Juventus vs Lyon, Arsenal vs Wolfsburg and Real Madrid vs Barcelona.
