April 7 – AC Milan has unveiled video game maker Konami Digital Entertainment as the club’s first Official Training Wear Partner.
Described as a long-term deal, konami will become a club Principal Partner from July and for the start of the new season. No value was given for the sponsorship.
Konami’s eFootball logo will feature on the front of the men’s team’s official training kit, which will be worn before every fixture.
Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan’s Chief Revenue Officer, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Konami back into the AC Milan family as one of our Principal Partners and our very first Training Wear Partner for the men’s team. We are very excited about the potential that this partnership offers us both as a Club and a brand to break new ground together.”
AC Milan said the new training kit will be unveiled in the coming months, as well details of further marketing activation across AC Milan and Konami physical and digital platforms.
Konami said that AC Milan will be officially included into the eFootball game later this year.
