ELEVEN steps up as major content and technical provider for new FIFA+ platform

April 14 – More detail of the new streamed FIFA+ OTT broadcast channel has been released with the ELEVEN media group announced it is supporting the service with bth production and rights.

FIFA+ was launched with the promise of 40,000 live fixtures a year that will be available worldwide.

A good chunk of those live matches will come via the ELEVEN platform including Danish Superliga, Polish Ekstraklasa, Slovak Fortuna Liga, Italian Women’s Serie B, Brasileiro Feminino Serie A1, SAFF Women’s Championship, Swiss Super League, Mozambican Football Championship, UNCAF Club Championships, Angola Girabola, USL W League, Bhutan Premier League.

ELEVEN broadcasts about 65,000 hours of live sport each year – much of it via the MyCujoo OTT platform acquired by ELEVEN last year where rights owners upload their own live streams. It boasts 1,655 distribution channels and 665 million aggregated social media followers, generating more than 4 billion video views each month.

A press release said ELEVEN will support the production, delivery and distribution of live content on FIFA+, as well as the creation of commercial opportunities.
