SIGA opens registrations for New York summit on Female Leadership in Sport

January 27 – SIGA has opened registrations for its Summit on Female Leadership in Sport to be held at Mastercard’s Technology Hub in Manhattan, New York, on March 7.

The summit will celebrate International Women’s Day and will feature live panels, keynote speeches, and one-on-one interviews with high-profile industry leaders.

Dedicated to fostering Gender Equity and Female Leadership in Sport, the event will bring together more than 100 global leaders and senior executives from sport organisations, governments, international organisations, sponsors, civil society, academia, and media.

The summit will focus on the most pressing challenges that impact women in the sports industry, as well as covering other issues related to good governance, female leadership in action, athlete activism, mentorship, youth development and protection of female athletes, and commercialising women’s sport.

The summit will be held in a hybrid format. In-person places are limited and are available at an early-bird rate of $295 until February 10. Digital passes are free, with a donation option. All donations are invested into the SIGA Women Programme, to foster Female Leadership and Gender Equity in Sport.
