March 10 – Premier League Liverpool have confirmed the extension of Expedia’s shirt sleeve sponsorship for another four years.
No value was given for the new deal though it is said to be an increase. The current deal that expires at the end of this season is reckoned to be worth £9 million a year.
Expedia will be designated a Principal Club Partner of the club as well as having the sleeve sponsorship for both the men’s and women’s teams.
Expedia has activated its sponsorship with a travel hub for Liverpool fans ion its Expedia Live platform which helps fans arrange travel as well booking accommodation flights and car hire with Expedia member deals.
Expedia also provides free supporter transport for Liverpool Women’s away matches.

Travel is an incredibly important part of our fans’ match-day experience, so we are proud to have a world-leader in travel as part of the LFC family. We look forward to continuing to work with Expedia, creating more moving content and enhancing our fans’ overall matchday experience.”
The club and Expedia have worked together to create original digital content with the ‘Nothing Beats Being There’ content series of stories from players and fans describing their journeys to some of the most iconic matches in Liverpool recent history. Jerzy Dudek features in the first episode talking about the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final win in Istanbul.
