August 16 – World Cup 2026 host venue Houston will be the venue for a newly launched global sports festival aimed at the sports business to be held 4-7 April 2024.
Pokatok, named after the first team ball sport dating back to 3500 B.C., will be a mix of festival and conference bringing together multiple sports sports with a particular focus on the technologies that are dictating their evolution.
The four-day event is expecting an attendance of 30,000 people, making it the largest sports festival in the world.

The U.S. Soccer Foundation has signed as an early partner of the event and will work with it to establish content,speaking and programming opportunities.
