September 8 – Germany’s Bundesliga have extended their global video archive sales partnership with sports and entertainment company IMG until the end of the 2025/26 season.
IMG will license archive footage from the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 from the DFL historical, which spans 60 years of Bundesliga action. IMG will sell worldwide except for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.
The DFL Media Hub is one of the most extensive digital football archive globally, offering national and international media partners acces to more than 200,000 hours of historical film and video content. Additionally, the hub collaborates with the DFB (German Football Association) to incorporate Liga 3, the Women’s Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal, as well as men’s and women’s international matches.
