September 26 – The Barclays Women’s Super League has unveiled its new promotional campaign, ‘Where Greatness Lives’, as part of its 2023/24 season launch, with first matches kicking off this weekend.
The campaign follows a remarkable summer in which 94 players from the Barclays Women’s Super League participated in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, surpassing all other women’s professional divisions in representation.
‘Where Greatness Lives’ aims to celebrate the diverse talent that will be on display in the upcoming season and spotlights a host of notable stars such as Alisha Lehmann from Aston Villa, Taylor Hinds from Liverpool, Barbora Votíková from Tottenham Hotspur, Jess Carter from Chelsea, Viviane Asseyi from West Ham United, and Lauren Hemp from Manchester City.
The campaign is a fully integrated project led through paid digital media across leading channels including YouTube and Meta.
It will also run nationally in radio and digital advertisements, with creative to be strategically located in cities near teams’ Barclays Women’s Super League grounds.

Opening day fixtures include Arsenal vs. Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium, Aston Villa vs. Manchester United at Villa Park, Bristol City vs. Leicester City at Ashton Gate, and Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.
