Leeds sign Asian deal with 12Bet as club pushes for Premier League bounceback

November 1 – Leeds United have signed an agreement with 12Bet that will see the sports betting company become the championship club’s Asian betting partner.

The deal is the latest addition to Leeds’ sponsorship roster as the club looks to further expand into the Asian region as it pushes to bounceback to the Premier League.

12Bet, founded in 2007, will receive a package of geo-targeted digital assets, club IP and other promotional material.

The online bookmaker has a number of club deals, including Sevilla FC, Wigan Athletic and Hull City, while also being in talks with Crystal Palace, West Brom, Newcastle United and Birmingham City.

12BET’s Rory Anderson, said: “We are pleased to have partnered up with Leeds United and look forward to the exciting journey as the club drives to rejoin the Premier League.”

Leeds recorded their seventh league win of the season on Saturday, beating Huddersfield 4-1 in the Yorkshire derby. The victory marked the Elland Road Club’s fourth win in five matches.

Third-placed Leeds United will be looking to continue this fine run of form as they face an all-important six-pointer versus Leicester City at the King Power stadium on Friday night in a bout that could have a major effect on the table come the end of the season.

At present, the foxes sit top of the table with an impressive tally of 39 points after 13 games. Despite being third, Leeds are 14 points adrift from the top spot though there is plenty of time left in the 46-game Championship season.
