December 20 – The Asian Cup Local Organising Committee (LOC) has launched a third phase of ticket sales for the tournament that kicks off January 12.
Tickets for the group stage matches can be bought exclusively online through the official tournament ticketing platform, with prices starting from 25 Qatari Riyals ($6).
The second batch of tickets were released on November 19, 2023, and over 90,000 AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 tickets were sold within first 24 hours of release.
During the initial and subsequent ticket sales windows, notable support emerged from key markets such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and India.
Fans can download and display their tickets on mobile devices. This time around, stadium entry for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will not require the Hayya application that was needed at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, offering a more accessible entry process for attendees.
With the tournament drawing closer, the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 organisers said they are continuing their commitment to providing an inclusive experience for fans by leveraging digital ticketing solutions to facilitate easier access to matches without mandatory app-based entry requirements.
A total of 51 matches are set to be played across Qatar’s roster of stadiums between January 12 and February 10, 2024. The tournament will open with hosts Qatar versus Lebanon at the Lusail Stadium, where Lionel Messi lifted the FIFA World Cup just 13 months ago.
