January 5 – Premier league Chelsea have agreed a sleeve sponsorship with cryptocurrency firm BingX.
The deal fills the space left by Whalefin who terminated their £20 million per season deal before the start of the current season.
BingX are reportedly paying £10 million for the remainder of the current before transitioning to the front of Chelsea’s training kits for the 2024-25 season.
Chelsea started the current season without a main front of short sponsor before Infinite Athlete took the postion in a £40 million deal that will see them transition to the training kit sleeve next season.
Chelsea reportedly hope to close the BingX deal in time for the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg tie against Middlesbrough next Tuesday.
The BingX cryptocurrency exchange was founded in 2018 and has 10 million users worldwide, but is not accessible in the UK.
While the premium sponsorship positions are now filled, Chelsea still have to confirm a new front of shirt sponsor and sleeve sponsor for next season.
