January 26 – The US Soccer Federation has agreed a multi-year deal with Marriott Bonvoy who will become the federation’s Official Hotel Partner.
Marriott will focus promotion on its SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand that has more than 500 properties across the US and Canada.
Marriott will activate through its own loyalty programme, and the federation’s programme, U.S. Soccer’s Insiders. Members of the U.S. Soccer Insiders programme get presale ticket access, and Insiders-only experiences. They will now also have access to a customised Travel Hub, which will integrate reservations at Marriott Bonvoy U.S. properties, enabling the booking of tickets and hotels in one place.
Mandy Gill, Vice President, Continent Marketing, U.S. and Canada, Marriott International, said: “We’re excited to partner with U.S. Soccer to elevate soccer fandom to a whole new level through unique benefits, and by increasing accessibility of the sport at the community level.”
Marriott Bonvoy will support the SheBelieves platform with the sponsorship kicking off with the SheBelieve Cup in March.
