April 3 – The Football Federation of Montenegro (FSCG) has signed a one-year sponsorship with Crnogorski Telekom, part of the Deutsche Telekom Group.
The new contract was signed by the president of FSCG Dejan Savićević, the executive director of Crnogorski Telekom Stjepan Udovicič and the director of the Commercial Sector Predrag Perković. No value for the deal was given.
Crnogorski Telekom is the largest telecommunications company in Montenegro providing a full range of services to business and residential customers.
Savićević said that the long-term cooperation between Crnogorski Telekom and the Football Association is the best indicator of sharing common values.
“I am extremely happy that today we have the opportunity to extend cooperation with Crnogorski Telekom, a partner that has been with us practically since the first day of the existence of the Football Association of Montenegro. Long-term cooperation with the leading telecommunications operator in our country is the best indicator of sharing common values, dedication and commitment to achieving common goals. I am sure that in the new chapter of our cooperation we will have the opportunity to celebrate great successes together,” said Savićević.
Crnogorski Telekom’s Udovicic pointed out that supporting football in Montenegro is a special pleasure, bearing in mind the social importance of this sport and its undoubted potential, and wished the new coach and the national team excellent results in the upcoming period.
“Telekom and the Football Association have a serious history, we were supportive at the time of memorable results and I am convinced that together we will continue to surprise. If I had to describe my personal impression of Montenegrin football in a few words, it would be unforgettable moments, talent and passion. I believe in our cooperation, I believe in the results and the current synergy of the legendary actors of Yugoslav football. More than a decade and a half of cooperation means a traditional relationship and the recognition of that relationship by the general public.”
