April 30 – AC Milan Women will compete in the ‘Her Nations Tour’ friendly tournament this summer, with the club set to travel to Mexico for the competition’s kick-off on June 9.
Her Nations Tour will see AC Milan line up versus two local sides – Club Rayadas de Monterrey, and Tuzas de Pachuca. Mexico has invested heavily in its professional women’s teams and infrastructure with the national team recording their first win against the regionally dominant US win in the group stages of the W Gold Cup in February.
The tour will create an opportunity for AC Milan to to increase the profile of its women’s team, which was founded in 2018, as well as give players more international experience.
AC Milan already boasts approximately 23.7 million Rossoneri fans in Mexico, with 1.9 million followers on the club’s official social media.
The journey to North America is the first post-season tour in the history of AC Milan Women and will officially conclude the 2023/24 football season for the team.

The team look set to dodge relegation from the top tier of Italian women’s football after struggling in the opening part of the season. Their initial troubles earned them a spot in the relegation playoffs, which they have dominated.
