QPR agree shirt sponsorship with online bookie CopyBet

May 3 – English Championship club QPR has agreed a shirt sponsorship with on-line bookmaker CopyBet who also become the club’s official betting partner.

The agreement will see CopyBet’s branding feature on the back of the first team’s playing shirts from next season.

While the Premier League will introduce a ban on betting company front of shirt sponsorship from the 2026/27 season, the UK government did not extend the ban to EFL clubs who are free to retain shirt sponsorship deals and broker new ones.

CopyBet offers pre-match and in-play betting with more than 18,000 events daily. The bookmaker offers enhanced prices around major football matches, including the Premier League, Championship and Champions League.

Meanwhile, all new R’s fans that sign up will receive a no deposit £5 free bet to place on any QPR match throughout the season.

CopyBet allows punters to copy bets from any Tipster on the platform. Once a user has found a Tipster they like, they simply have to follow them, and the CopyBet platform will automatically copy their bets,

Tipsters are ranked based on their recent betting performance.

No value was given for the deal which was described as being multi-year.
