Inter Miami add VISA to sponsorship roster in worldwide deal

May 9 – With Lionel Messi back on the pitch and Inter Miami sitting top of the MLS and hammering in goals at more than double the rate of their nearest rival, the club have upgraded their sponsorship roster with a blue chip marketing partner.

Visa has become Inter Miami’s first Official International Payment Services Partner, holding exclusive rights to activate the Inter Miami brand worldwide.

Markets where VISA will be most active with Inter Miami are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay in South America, Mexico in North America, Costa Rica and Panama in Central America, Dominican Republic and Jamaica in the Caribbean, alongside France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain in Europe.

“Our partnership with Visa marks a significant milestone, not only for Inter Miami CF but also for Major League Soccer, as we are honored to be Visa’s newest partner in MLS,” said Inter Miami chief business officer, Xavier Asensi.

“With our international fanbase, top-tier roster, and global vision aligning seamlessly with Visa’s expansive worldwide reach, this collaboration reaffirms our commitment to catering to our diverse audience on the world stage.”

As well as branding across Inter Miami’s platforms, VISA will focus marketing activation on  providing unique experiences for Inter Miami fans and VISA cardholders. The club said these will include:

  • Practice Experience: Attend training sessions during the regular season.
  • Pre-Match Warmup Experience: Witness Inter Miami CF home matches warm up on the pitch.
  • Post-Match Photo: Photo opportunities on the pitch after the game.
  • Stadium | Training Center Tours: behind the scenes access to the Chase Stadium and Florida Blue Training Centre
  • Exclusive Merchandise: Autographed replica jerseys and balls, as well as other memorabilia signed by Inter Miami players.
