Betano supports Argentina launch with league naming rights

May 15 – Kaizen Gaming brand Betano has become the title sponsor and exclusive betting partner of the Argentina Football Association’s (AFA) Liga Profesional de Fútbol.

The club season opened last weekend with ‘Torneo de la liga profesional’ renamed as the ‘Torneo Betano’ while the ‘Copa de la Liga Profesional’, will be known as ‘Copa Betano’ from next season.

Betano, which has recently launched in Argentina, also owns the naming rights in Brazil to the top tier Brasileirão Betano, as well as being a sponsorship partner of the Conmebol Copa America.

In Europe Betano last week unveiled a short sponsorship deal with Premier League Aston Villa and is a sponsor of EURO 2024.

Claudio Tapia, president of AFA, said: “The Liga Profesional de Fútbol is one of the most important assets of Argentine football and we always try to bring it closer to the fans and attract the interest of world-class companies through it. This agreement with Betano strengthens our vision and confirms, once again, the massive reach of Argentine football.”

Betano will marketing will include on-field activations and prize giveaways for fans. No value or term was given for the deal.
